New Music on Monday

At the time of this writing (Sunday evening), it's been a very stressful day. Work was wild. Then later the pup scratched my eye. Then The Walking Dead tried to take me the rest of the way out. Now my sinuses have revolted and I can't get them to turn off and I'm just over today already. So here is my #MusicMonday selection for this week, and it has nothing to do with getting scratched by your pet, TWD, or sinuses. Yay for new music!

Chevelle: "Take Out the Gunman"

I just LOVE this song. Love this band. And they have a new album (from which this song is the first release) coming in April. Hope I get to see them on tour! I need to make that happen.

  1. Isn't Chevelle a heavy metal group? Sounds like it, but I'm not sure - which shows you how much I know. Interesting tune - I learn something new everyday. Thanks for sharing and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

    1. Belle, they are :) They're more "hard rock" to me, but I think they are still considered metal. I love this song!

  4. A rockin good tune after a stressful day.
Especially if you were as Just Wrecked after that Walking Dead episode as I was.
I'm afraid to watch that show alone anymore.

Hooray for new music to make soothe the beasts! :)

  8. Didn't get my MM up in time this week, but have enjoyed the visits nonetheless. This band is dynamite and drums phenomenal. I daresay my two drummers already know this band!!
