Trick or Treat. I couldn't wait to see this movie when it came out! But as I said, it was overlooked. So overlooked, in fact, that it never even came to a theater near me and I had to wait for it to be released on VHS before I could watch it.
It featured Gene Simmons as a radio DJ, Ozzy Osbourne as a preacher, and Mark Price (a.k.a. Skippy from "Family Ties" for those of you who were around back then) as a geeky, brooding high school outcast who manages to manifest the black soul of his favorite devil-worshippin' rock star, who had recently died under mysterious circumstances.
Of course, all manner of mayhem ensues, but what more do you need, really? You've got Skippy, Ozzy, Gene, and a killer soundtrack by metal band Fastway! And Fastway was fronted at that time by none other than Dave King, whom some of you may more readily recognize from his current folk-punk band Flogging Molly.
