A little bit of Christmasy Folk Art

Here's an adorable set of vintage nesting angels (all nested in this photo) I found for about a quarter in a thrift store. They're a terrific edition to my hodge-podge holiday decor! I don't have a clue how old they are, but I love that they appear to be aged. And I thought they complimented the rail of my weathered deck quite well in this photo.

Thrifty finds are amazing!

  1. Score! So pretty. I am always amazed at the things you are able to find at the thrift store. I don't mean because it is a thrift store but the actual treasures you come home with are amazing. I don't have the eye apparently.

  3. Love it! And I agree, the "weathered" look just adds tons of character. imagine the tales of holidays past it could tell??

in reply to your comment regarding my Tuesday Coffee Chat -- this weeks' was the last one for 2012 - the weeks prior to Christmas are just too crazy busy with 3 kids. But it will return after New Years: first one probably Tuesday, January 8th. You can always find the next topic at the bottom of the current chats' post. And then just under my header in a separate box there will be a Sneak Peek Topic post the Sunday prior to the chat.
(but I am debating doing a separate Coffee Chat page that gives a couple weeks notice of the prompts.)
Would love to have you join us in 2013! And if you have any chat topics you're dying to discuss....just let me know!
